Another happy resident in Melbourne

Viera Manor received this feedback recently and I love to share how well our staff works with residents and their families:

“Five weeks ago, my husband and I realized that my mother was no longer capable of living alone in her West Palm Beach home. We contacted Mike and began our journey of bringing Mom to Viera Manor.

She was not at all happy with her change in residences. She has shown regressions in her capabilities to live alone. She has shown difficulties with her memory. I have been told this is normal when one undergoes a major change. It’s just hard to watch.

The staff has been wonderful. I am happy with Mom’s care. Everyone goes out of their way to make her feel at home. The front desk staff is always friendly and outgoing. Eileen is very special. She  encourages my mother to participate in activities. The Ra’s are so attentive.

My mother is receiving physical therapy to help with her balance. At 94, she still walks without a cane or walker. But, the therapy is needed. Thank you for that.

Today was probably her best day of all. She had her hair done and received many compliments. She was talkative and happy.

Tomorrow I leave for my 2 week vacation. I am able to leave because I know my mother is safe and in excellent care. Five weeks ago, I didn’t think I would be able to go away.

Thank you all so very much. We found a wonderful new home for Mom.”

Good job everyone!
